'Specializing in Quality Appendix Quarter Horses'

Starting and developing young horses is Garry Westergaard's specialty. He has a philosophy that all horses, whether destined for the showring, reining pen, or racetrack, should have the same basic education and then move on to specialized training.

Garry has spent many years breaking horses and working cattle in the big ranch country of south central British Columbia. He has developed horses for the show and sales ring and also prepared horses for the race track.

Christine Smith would like to thank Garry Westergaard for a good start in Shesa Dancin Spider's training!

Thanks for giving 'Spyder' a good start. She's a great horse who just keeps getting better. We have been competing at big reining shows in Cardston and Red Deer and also have gone to open horse shows and placed in western pleasure equitation to trail and reining. She's a joy to ride and train and I love her to pieces.
